Featuring the ICam4D

icam4d1

The ICam4D is superior to impression techniques (analog or io scanner) and can greatly enhance the workflow. It can obtain a digital impression of multiple implants at the same time utilizing photogrammetry.

We invest in state of the art technology to provide you superior service.

Benefits of the iCam 4D:

icam4d2

The iCam 4D is revolutionizing the workflow for multi-implant restorations. This exciting new technology has tremendous benefits for the patient and all parties involved from dentist to production. The iCam 4D technology reduces chair-time, the number of visits, and it eliminates significant hardware, personnel and production costs. It’s the only technology that guarantees predictable and accurate results independent of the operator.

The advantages for the patient include:

Significant chair time reduction. We will scan the implants for you and provide you with a try-in prior to final!
No stress due to the taking of the impressions. The insertion of the ICamBodies and the capture of the gingiva are rapid and comfortable compared to taking an implant impression.
Patient Comfort. The measurements can be performed with a lip extractor only. Thus there is no need to open the mouth to extreme positions as with intra-oral scanners.
Improved Quality. Enhanced quality of the fit of the final restoration.
Possibility shorter treatment times as early load protocols are much more feasible with the ICam4D.

CBCT Scanner

Dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a powerful diagnostic tool that allows Dr. Patel to capture 3D images of your entire oral cavity including: soft tissues, nerve pathways, bone structure, and teeth. Given the comprehensive nature of this technology, our oral surgeon is able to strategically plan for complex procedures including facial and jaw reconstruction as well as dental implant placement.

TRIOS and iTero Intraoral Digital Scanners

Creating implant-supported restorations is a collaborative effort between your oral surgeon and general dentist. To ensure you receive the best restoration for your smile, our team utilizes iTero and TRIOS scanners as means of digitally scanning your smile to create your custom crown, bridge, or hybrid denture. By eliminating the need for uncomfortable traditional impression material, Lorton, Springfield & Mt Vernon Dental Implants and Oral Surgery helps ensure a positive patient experience from start to finish.

3D Printing

Personalizing complex surgical procedures shouldn’t be a hassle. Rather than relying on traditional surgical guides, which can take weeks to be manufactured, our offices feature 3D printing. Through this extension of guided surgery, Dr. Patel is able to take the necessary scans, upload them to CAD software, then print a precise replica of your dentition in the same day. With 3D-printed surgical guides, patients benefit from first hand treatment explanations while our oral surgeon is able to proceed with the treatment planning process in a timely manner.

Intravenous Sedation and Outpatient Anesthesia

Keeping patients comfortable through every step of their treatment is among the most important goals of our practice. At Lorton, Springfield & Mt Vernon Dental Implants and Oral Surgery, we are equipped to offer advanced sedation options, including IV sedation and general anesthesia. Combined with our emphasis on high quality care, our practice puts patient comfort and safety above all else.
